A place to connect
We serve the Rockland Community as well as the Rockland School. If we don't have an item or service you would like to see let us know and we will do our best to get it in or make it happen!
We are typically open when the school is open with 2 hours in the evening Tuesday nights.
Public is welcome during school hours, though due to students using the library,
there are times when the library is chaotic:
M-Th 9:55 am-10:10am 2nd breakfast, 12:55pm-1:35 Lunch time, 1:45pm-2:10pm Class times Mon 2pm-2:30pm, 2:55pm-3:30pm. Tue 12:10pm-12:40, 2pm-2:30pm. Wed 2:55-3:30pm. Thu 11:30- 12:30pm,2pm-2:30pm. Summer Hours M 12-4, Tu 12-7, and Th 10-4

Preschool Storytime
Thursdays from 11:30 to 12:30
Meet at the library, let the kids play in our kids section for a bit then have storytime, craft, and snacks. Fun for the kids and an opportunity for adults to connect with others.

Chromebook Classes
This program is brought to you by the Idaho Commission for Libraries and was made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, Join Us Tuesday nights from 6-7pm
We are providing Free lessons and or help with Chromebooks. Our library has Chromebooks to use in the library and 3 available for checkout.

Kindergarten Readiness Grant
We are very happy to receive this additional funding thanks to the Kindergarten Readiness Grant, which was made possible by The Idaho Commission for Libraries and The Institute of Museum and Library Services. We are able to provide a more well thought out story time with snacks for our preschoolers, purchase 8 new chairs for our Preschool area, and two new preschool backpacks to take home and explore.

Idaho Teen Reading Challenge
Just a heads up for all our teenagers who signed up for our Idaho Teen Reading Challenge. Our Challenge ends April 30th. Everyone who completes the challenge and returns their reading log to the library will be entered into a drawing for a $50 dollar visa gift card. The drawing will be held May 1st.

We are providing Free Blood Pressure Readings now to the public
Children's Bike Helmets available for Check out
We have three bike helmets available for check out. Can't afford to buy a helmet but want your kids safe? Come on in and check one out today. Check out is good for a week.
Oculus check out for families
Adults can check out the Oculus Quest 2 for your family to try out for a week, if you agree to assume full responsibility for the Oculus headset, controllers, all items given with it and follow all rules for use. It is a very expensive equipment and could be very expensive to fix or replace. It is booked until July. Get on the list if you want an opportunity to check it out.
